Last night danny and michael popped over for cocktails and a snack. here's what happened....
I found this scrumptious recipe for a hot ham sandwich roll in a vintage Betty Crocker Picture Cookbook! It tasted absolutely marvelous.
Here's what you do:
1. Cut up a loaf of unsliced bread (not quite the whole way through, almost to the bottom).
2. Melt some butter. 3. Spread the butter in the slices. 4. Alternate 2 slices of ham and 2 slices of cheese in each cut. 5. Brush the top of the loaf with more butter. 6. Cover the loaf in foil, and pop in the oven at 400 for about 30 minutes.
Ooh La La, num town!
